Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) is an open educational society of Andhra Pradesh. It was established as an autonomous society and certified registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Act on 20th of February 1991. And beginning to work on the ‘Ugadi Day’, the 17th of March 1991. Andhra Pradesh Open School Society is the First State Open School in India located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh Open School organized the admissions in Class 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th for every year. A large number of aspirants will promote higher studying via the certificate of APOSS courses. The Humble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is the Chief Patron and the Hon’ble Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh is the Patron of Andhra Pradesh Open School Society. It is the General Body and an Executive Board at the State Level for which the Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. In APOSS District level committees in the Districts with District Collector as Chairman and District Education Officer as Member-Secretary for implementation of the scheme.
On Open and Distance Learning (ODL) the model of National Open School (NOS) was studied carefully and adapted to meet the needs of the learners of AP. Initially, it was started in five districts as like a. Nellore, Chittoor, Nizamabad, Medak and Visakhapatnam, with the financial assistance of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh Open School Society will provide good opportunities for continuing education to those who have missed opportunities to complete school and development higher education and to other students desirous of pursuing school level education by open and distance learning (ODL) mode by provides courses and programs of general education, life enrichment and vocational education up to pre-degree level. The APOSS Director, Parvathi has given APOSS admission notification for this academic year 2019-2019 for admission into 10th class (SSC) and Intermediate courses through distance mode in their Open school study centres.
The aspirants can apply for 10th class and intermediate courses. Andhra Pradesh Open School Society mission is offering pre-elementary Education via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to School drop-outs and those missing Upper Primary stage of education and to attain Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in the State and offers continuing education for adult neo-literates, working men and women to reinforce their functional literacy and not to allow them to relapse into illiteracy. Andhra Pradesh Open School Results Supply 2019 will be available soon at our APOSS official website. The Board will declare the AP Open School SSC Results 2019 and Andhra Pradesh Open School Inter Results 2019 (Class 10th and 12th Results) will be declared on apopenschool.org. Thousands of aspirants appeared in class 10th and 12th examination. The society has recently announced to all set of the APOSS SSC Result and APOSS Intermediate Result 2019.
