On 23/04/08. Krishna University is named after mighty river Krishna. Krishna University is presently situated at Andhra Jateeya kalasala, a famous first-grade college in Machilipatnam. The university is housed in Mitsuru Krishna Rao building having 15000 sq. ft. plinth area to run the existing and planned courses. Its jurisdiction is confined to the entire Krishna district. The university has provided high education in the fields of arts, sciences, commerce, management, and technology. The internal assessment component of Krishna University is 30% in each paper.
