Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya is a state agricultural university, located in Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh. It’s also known other name as Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University. Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur was founded under the Madhya Pradesh Act No. 16 of 2009. The university has affiliated by UGC and ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture and Research). The University offers education in different branches of veterinary science and fisheries science and allied sciences. And it also determined to undertake the extension of these sciences to the rural people in co-operation with the government departments concerned. Historically, the University was the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Jabalpur which was inaugurated on July 8, 1948, as Central Provinces and Berar Veterinary College by Shri Jairamdas Daulatram. Cultural Activities- There are extra-curricular activities that enrich the cultural, physical, mental and social life of the aspirants.
