About Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU)
Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU) is a charitable and humanitarian project undertaken by the SGPC to impart higher education to learners belonging to all creeds, castes, and religions. The University is located in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, India. The University was established in 2011 to commemorate the historic event of 400th Anniversary of compilation and the first installation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It is spread over an area 140 acres of land. Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh offering Under Graduate, Post Graduate, diplomas, certificates and doctoral programmes in various areas including emerging technologies, basic, applied and medical sciences, Sikh religion, humanities, languages and physical education. Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University has goning to announced admission for UG, PG, Diplomas, Certificate and Research Programmes for the academic session 2019-20. The academic year in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University starts in Jully every year.

75% seats in all B.Tech/M. Tech./MBA/ (Five-Year Integrated) Courses after 10+2, will be filled on merit list prepared on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized Board/University. 25% seats will be filled on the basis of JEE/CMAT/GATE merit.
Rest of All courses will be filled on merit, prepared on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination.
Admission to Ph.D. programme in different disciplines will be as per UGC guidelines. Entrance Test will be conducted for admission. The number of seats in Ph.D. for different disciplines will be notified before the entrance test.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Admission Form duly filled in and signed, along with the prescribed documents, would be considered as complete admission form. Original certificates are to be provided at the time of counseling.
