About The Global Open University
Global Open University, Nagaland (a State University established by the Government of Nagaland) has been enacted under the Nagaland State Legislative Assembly under the Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006), which got the consent of Nagaland Governor at 30th place August Notification No. 9/2006 -10 / 2006 was notified on 2006 and 18 September 2006. The provisions of the Global Open University Act 2006 were published for general information on 18 September 2006 in Nagaland Official Gazette. After much difficulty, the third reading in the Nagaland assembly and the approval of the Honorable Governor was passed and became an Act (Act 3 of 2006), the inauguration program was started with the courses offered by TGOON, the high professional and professional field. Honourable Minister of Higher Education (2007), Dr Shurojeli inaugurated the headquarter of Global Open University, Nagaland, as the Chief Guest on May 31, 2007. Honourable Minister of Higher Education (2007), Dr. Shurjil inaugurated the headquarters of Global Open University, Nagaland as the Chief Guest on May 31, 2007. The law has been enacted under the Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) by the Nagaland State Assembly of Global Open University, Nagaland, which received the consent of the governor of Nagaland on August 30, 2006, and notified by notification number law/act Was -10/2006 on 18 September 2006.
