State University (Amendment), Act 2012 (Notification No. 597/79-V-12-2 (of) -6, 2012 dated August 16, 2012). Dr. Anees Ansari, IAS (Retd) took over as the founder Vice Chancellor on April 23, 2010. The name of the university was named after the Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer, which is known for his generosity and generosity throughout the world. Khwaja Moinuddin was born in 1141 CE in Chishti in Herat, Afghanistan. Also known as 'Gharib Nawaz' and 'Beneficent of the poor', he is the most famous saint of the Chishti Order of Sufism in the Indian subcontinent.
