The University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), the first State Private University on Science and Technology, throughout North East India sponsored by the ERD Foundation, Guwahati. The university is being set up in a picturesque landscape surrounded by peaceful greenery in the Assam-Meghalaya border, opposite GS Road, Briudua, the 9th mile to the CRPF camp, in a there-Bhoi district of Meghalaya. It is located in Shillong, 85 km the capital of Meghalaya and 6 km from Dispur, the capital of Assam. The premises is well connected to the rail and air, which is only 15 km from the Guwahati railway station and 48 km from the Guwahati International Airport.

The USTM has been founded under the provisions of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya Act (No. 6 of 2008), which has been enacted by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and the Gazette Notification No. dated 02.12. LL.B (B) has been notified via 87/2008/21. Meghalaya Government's 2008 The University has been empowered by the University Grants Commission to give the degree specified by UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. USTM has received the necessary approval from AICTE, New Delhi; For running MCA, NCTE, ERC, Bhubaneswar and Bar Council of India, BEd LLB / BA LLB course respectively.

USTM Admission 2019

USTM (University of Science and Technology) was established on December 02, 2008 and it is located opposite the CRPF camp in RR-Bhoi district of Meghalaya. The USTM offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs under its academic curriculum. Graduate programs include BA / B.Sc. / BPT / BCom / BCA / BBA / BSW / BA-LLB courses, except for BA LLB, for a period of three years which is of five years. The postgraduate program includes MA / MSc / MWS / M Com / MCA / MBA / MLIC. Each course is of two years duration. bed. And the LLB programs provided by the University are of two and three years respectively. The PhD program is of three years duration with 6 specializations.
