Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGGV), also known as Sarguja University, is a state university established on 2 September 2008 under the Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam No. 18 of 2008. Located in Ambikapur, Sarguja district of Chhattisgarh, the university was founded to make quality higher education accessible to students from the tribal and rural communities of northern Chhattisgarh.

The university is affiliated with 62 colleges spread across five revenue districts — Korea, Surguja, Jashpur, Surajpur and Balrampur. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programmes across Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy and Management.

Re-evaluation and marksheet

Students who wish to apply for re-evaluation or re-checking of their answer scripts can submit an application to the university examination department within 15 days of the result declaration date. Original marksheets are available from respective affiliated colleges approximately two weeks after results are declared.
