Sri Venkateswara University started as Post Graduate centre in the year 1968. In 1976, the S.V.U. Postgraduate Centre attained autonomous status. The University is named after a patron of learning and the arts, Sri Krishnadevaraya, of the Vijayanagara Empire of the 16th century. Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) is a public university in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India, established on July 25, 1981.
It is located in rural surroundings in a broad campus of about 500 acres of land. Prof. K. RAMAKRISHNA REDDY assumed charge as Vice Chancellor of Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on 11-11-2011. The SK University offers 38 Post Graduate (PG) courses through 28 departments. 11 post graduate courses are being conducted at the P.G. centre, Kurnool through 8 departments.
The University has plentiful scope for development. It includes University Science Instrumentation Centre, Computer Centre, health centre, gymnasium, outdoor stadium, auditorium and adequate space to accommodate departments of studies, laboratories, hostels, and housing for the staff. University also provided students with latest amenities so that they can perform better in the field of knowledge. Moreover training sessions are also conducted in this university so that faculties and students will always stay updated with latest news and technologies.

The admission to B.Pharmacy. course is through a State-Level Entrance Test (EAMCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Application for EAMCET can be made on its official website
The Admission to the degree courses like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBM will be done at the college level by the college management and the principal of the college, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.
The admission to the B.P.Ed., course is through a State-Level Entrance Test called “Physical Education Common Entrance Test” (PECET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Application for PECET can be made on its official website.
Steps to Appy for Online Admissions:
- Candiates can register themselves for admission by submitting the online application through the university website “www.skudoa.in”.
- Candidates have to submit separate application for each course .
- Before filling the application forms, candidates should submit application fee of Rs. 1000/- through online payment modes such as Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet Banking
- After payment verification, candidate can proceed for online application form filling with all the required details
- Upon successful registration, candidate should take a printout of the filled-in application form for future correspondence

- On the board result portal, click on UG & PG Result & then select BA,BSC, BCOM, MA, MSC & MCOM following part result
- Choose result method between Name Wise and Roll number wise
- For Roll number wise result – enter your roll number and click on get result button
- For Name Wise Result – Enter your name and father’s name (at least 3 letters of each name) & click on get the result.
- Then print your result and take a print out to use as duplicate Sri Krishnadevaraya University (Regular & Private) mark sheet
