SSC CGL Result 2025 Out: 1,39,395 Candidates Shortlisted for Tier 2 Exam

Within just two months of conducting the exam, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL Tier 1 results, including cut-off marks and the total number of qualifiers. Out of the 28.15 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,39,395 have successfully qualified to progress to the SSC CGL Tier 2 stage. This official data confirms the recruitment trajectory for the 2025 cycle.

139395 Candidates Qualified in SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam

Of the 1,39,395 shortlisted candidates, 6,196 are set to appear for the Junior Statistical Officer post, 2,791 for Statistical Investigator Gr. II, and 1,30,418 for other CGL positions. Qualified candidates should immediately begin their preparation for the Tier 2 exam, which is tentatively scheduled to take place in the third week of January 2026.

For the 2025 recruitment cycle, the SSC has announced 14,582 total vacancies to be filled through a rigorous multi-stage selection process. Following the conclusion of the Tier 1 exam, approximately 1.4 lakh candidates have advanced to the Tier 2 stage.
