Andhra Pradesh PSC Group 4 Selection Process 2026

Aspirants aiming for a government career through the APPSC Group 4 recruitment must have a thorough understanding of the selection process. The comprehensive evaluation involves a screening test, a main examination, and a computer proficiency test, all of which must be navigated successfully to qualify for the final merit list.

  • Screening Test: The screening test includes the two papers, Paper I & II.  Paper 1 consists of 100 questions, and Paper 2 consists of 50 questions. The duration for each paper is 2:30 hours. Marks of this exam will not be considered in the final merit.
  • Mains Exam: Candidates who will be shortlisted from the screening test can appear in the mains exam. The marks of the mains exam will be considered for the final merit list.
  • Computer Proficiency Test: Those who qualify for the mains examination will be called for the computer proficiency test. This test is qualifying in nature.

The exam pattern prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is designed to assess core competencies required for various Group 4 roles.
