What is APSC JE Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must possess a 3-year Diploma specifically in Electrical Engineering from an institute recognized by AICTE.
- The diploma course must be a Regular course. Diplomas obtained through Distance Mode of education, by whatever name called, will not be considered.
- Upload all semester/year mark sheets reflecting the subjects studied and the final pass certificate.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age to be eligible. The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved categories, as detailed in the official relaxation table provided in the notification.

The marking scheme awards 1 mark per correct answer, with a negative marking deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response.

APSC JE Salary Structure 2026
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 70,000, with a starting basic salary of Rs. 35,400 per month and a grade pay of Rs. 8,700. In addition to the base salary, employees are entitled to benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance, subject to mandatory NPS and tax deductions.
