  In addition, the candidate must have either:
• Qualified NET (UGC/CSIR or any other UGC-accredited test) for Assistant Professor; or
• A Ph.D. degree as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, which exempts the candidate from NET as per applicable UGC provisions.

To be eligible for the Assistant Professor position, candidates must be between 21 and 43 years of age as of the prescribed cut-off date.

Age relaxation provisions are available for candidates belonging to reserved categories, in strict accordance with the prevailing Bihar Government regulations.
