Bihar TRE 4.0 Eligibility Criteria 2026

Before applying for the BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam 2026, candidates must review the eligibility criteria regarding educational qualifications and age limits. Applications from candidates who fail to meet the specified requirements will be rejected.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a 12th, graduation, or post-graduation degree from a recognized university to be eligible for the online application process of the BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam 2026.

For Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5)

• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination/ 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (OR)
• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination/ 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED)
• Candidates must have passed 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (OR )
• Graduation with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Early Education/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed Special Education.

For Middle School Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

• Candidates must have passed 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). (OR)
• Candidates must have passed 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (OR )
• Graduation with 50 % Marks and 2-year Diploma in Early Education/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed Special education. (OR)
• Candidates have completed a Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 55 % marks with 3 yr Bed-Med Course. (AND)
• B.ED qualified
• Candidates must have qualified CTET/Bihar TET exam

For Secondary Teacher (Class 9 to 10)

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/B.A/B.Com) with at least 45% marks, have completed or appeared in senior secondary/B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks, and have qualified the CTET or Bihar TET exam.

For Higher Secondary Teacher (Class 11 to 12)
