BSF Tradesmen Revised Vacancies

BSF Tradesmen Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The BSF Tradesman selection process comprises the following distinct stages:

Stage 1: Physical Test- Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and mandatory Trade Test (if applicable).

Stage 2: Written Examination – An objective-type test covering key subjects. Qualifying this exam is essential to proceed to the documentation and medical stages.

Stage 3: Document Verification & Trade Test – Candidates will undergo skill assessment for their chosen trade alongside a formal verification of all submitted documents.

Stage 4: Medical Examination – Qualified candidates will be assigned to a designated government hospital for a comprehensive medical fitness evaluation.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a qualifying round held at specialized centers equipped with RFID, digital sensors, and CCTV surveillance. Success in all PET/PST events is mandatory to qualify for the subsequent recruitment phases; failure in any single event leads to disqualification.

BSF Tradesmen Application Fee 2025

The application fee is ₹100, while the examination fee is ₹50 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, and female candidates are fully exempted from these fees. Payments can be made online via Net Banking, UPI, or Credit/Debit cards.

Steps to Apply for BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025

Follow these steps to complete your BSF Recruitment 2025 online application successfully.

1. Visit the official website of the Border Security Force, www.rectt.bsf.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Current Recruitment Openings” section and search for “Constable(Tradesmen) Advertisement Number CT_trade_07/2025”.
3. Then click on “Apply Here” and a new page with the application form appears on the screen.
4. After clicking the Apply online link, enter your details like name, email, address, educational qualifications, and other required details.
5. Upload all the required documents, your photo, signature, educational certificates, and category certificate.
6. Complete the process by paying the application fee. Pay the fee using online modes like UPI, net banking, or debit/credit card.
7. After the complete submission, download and print the application form.

Application Correction Window Details

The correction window for the BSF Tradesman application form will be active from 24th August 2025 to 26th August 2025 (closing at 11:00 PM).

• Only candidates who submitted the application and paid the fee on time are eligible to make corrections.
• The correction fee for the exam is Rs. 100.
• The Online payment mode is Net Banking / Debit or Credit Card / CSC centre.
• If the correction fee is not paid, the form will be marked “Incomplete” and will be rejected.
• Only one-time correction is allowed; no further changes after this window.
• No changes will be accepted via post, email, or in-person requests after 26th August 2025.

BSF Tradesmen Salary Structure

Appointed personnel will receive a salary according to Pay Level 3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) under the 7th CPC. Additionally, employees receive various perks, including HRA, Transport Allowance, and Dearness Allowance.
