Bihar SSC CGL Selection Process 2026
The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) conducts the recruitment process across two primary stages:
Stage 1- Preliminary (Prelims) Examination
Stage 2- Mains Examination

BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern 2026
- The BSSC CGL 2026 Mains Exam will be held in the form of 2 papers.
- Candidates would be getting 2 hours and 15 minutes for each paper.
- Paper 1 will comprise a language paper (Hindi language) having 100 questions for a total of 400 marks.
- There will be a minimum qualifying mark of 30% in paper 1 and only the candidates securing 30 % marks will be eligible for paper 2.
- For the BSSC CGL 2026 Mains Paper 2 there will be 3 sections. The pattern and syllabus for paper 2 are similar to that of the BSSC CGL 2026 preliminary exam.
