The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) has officially released the CAIIB Exam Date 2026 for candidates appearing in the upcoming May/June session. CAIIB Exam 2026

The Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) is a flagship professional certification offered by the IIBF, conducted biannually. This exam is designed to enhance the decision-making capabilities of banking professionals by covering critical domains such as Risk Management, Treasury Management, Credit Management, International Banking, Balance Sheet Management, and Economic Analysis.

Steps to Registration for CAIIB Exam 2026

Candidates can submit the CAIIB application form exclusively through the official IIBF website at http://www.iibf.org.in/. Follow the portal's step-by-step instructions to ensure your registration is processed correctly.

1. visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), http://www.iibf.org.in/
2. On the homepage search for “Examination/ ‘Flagship Courses > click on Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB )”
3. Now candidates have to create an account on the IIBF portal or if they have already an account Login in with your membership number and password
4. : Now candidates have to fill the details such as mode and medium of the exam, center for the exam, place of work
5. Click on accept and submit for online payment
6. Select the payment option (credit/debit card, net banking) and pay an application fee. On successful completion transaction details an emailed/SMSed to you for your information and record
7. candidates should print out the application form for records and future reference

The application fee for the CAIIB Exam 2026 varies depending on the number of attempts and is exclusive of GST. Please review the fee structure carefully before completing your payment for the CAIIB 2026 examination.

CAIIB 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the CAIIB 2026 examination, candidates must meet the specific requirements set by the institute as outlined below:

1. Candidates must qualify for the JAIIB exam or Part-1 of the Associate Examination.
2. The candidate should be a member of the IIBF
3. The membership subscription of the candidate should not be in arrears.

CAIIB 2026 Exam Pattern

The CAIIB syllabus comprises four compulsory papers: Advanced Bank Management, Bank Financial Management, Advanced Business & Financial Management, and Banking Regulations and Business Laws. Additionally, candidates must choose one elective from a list of five options, including Rural Banking, Human Resources Management, Information Technology & Digital Banking, Risk Management, and Central Banking.

Below are the key components and highlights of the CAIIB exam pattern:

1. There will be 100 MCQ-type questions asked in each paper.
2. A maximum duration of 2 hrs will be allotted to complete each paper.
3. The exam paper will be bilingual i.e. both in English and Hindi Language.

CAIIB 2026 Admit Card 

You can download your admit card from the official IIBF website at https://www.iibf.org.in. IIBF also sends a copy to your registered email address approximately 10 days before the exam. Please carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid original photo ID (or Membership ID) to the center; otherwise, you will be prohibited from taking the exam. 

CAIIB 2026 Result 

Results for the CAIIB 2026 exam will be declared on the official website, https://www.iibf.org.in, following the conclusion of the testing period. You may download your mark sheet using your membership number. Digitally signed certificates are typically issued via email approximately three weeks post-result.
