What is the Full Form of COVID-19?
COVID-19 Full Form: COVID-19 is a highly infectious respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus strain previously unknown to humans. Similar to other coronaviruses, it originated in animals before transitioning to human hosts. Due to its rapid global transmission, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially classified it as a pandemic.

COVID-19 stands for Coronavirus Disease 2019. The term is derived from "CO" (Corona), "VI" (Virus), "D" (Disease), and "19," representing the year it was first identified. The initial case was traced back to November 17, 2019, in Wuhan, Hubei province.
According to the WHO, common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, dry cough, fatigue, and in severe instances, difficulty breathing. Some patients may also experience a sore throat, nasal congestion, body aches, or diarrhea. The virus spreads primarily through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or via contact with contaminated surfaces followed by touching the eyes, nose, or mouth.
