1. Go to the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, www.ctet.nic.in.
2. Find the link and click on “CTET February 2026 Result” appearing on the homepage in front of the Latest News section.
3. Now, you are directed to a new page where candidates are required to enter their Roll Number.
4. After entering valid login details, click on the Submit tab.
5. The CTET results for paper 1 and paper 2 appear on the screen.
6. Take the printout of the CTET Result for future use.

• Central Government Schools/ UT/ State Government Schools - Candidates must have a valid CTET certificate to apply for teaching posts
• Private Schools Across India - A large number of private schools prefer or require CTET-qualified candidates. These schools consider CTET certification as proof of teaching aptitude and subject knowledge, especially for primary and upper primary levels.
• Recruitment Exams & Teaching Vacancies - CTET marks are often used as an eligibility criterion in various teacher recruitment drives.
• Lifetime Validity Advantage - CTET certificates now have lifetime validity. This means candidates can use their CTET result and marks anytime in the future for teaching job applications.

CTET Result 2026 Applicability

(i) The CTET qualification is recognized by Central Government schools (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools managed by Union Territories including Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and the NCT of Delhi.

(ii) Unaided private schools may also opt to accept CTET scores as a standard for faculty recruitment.

(iii) Schools under State Government management typically follow the State TET, though states may choose to adopt the CTET in place of their own state-level eligibility testing.

(iv) Under CBSE Affiliation Bye-Law 53, it is mandatory for teachers appointed to Classes I–VIII in CBSE-affiliated schools to possess a valid Central Teacher Eligibility Test or State TET certificate, ensuring alignment with NCTE guidelines for teacher quality.
