EMRS PGT Selection Process 2026
Selection for the 1,460 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions involves a two-stage examination process. While the Tier 1 exam serves as a qualifying hurdle, the final merit list is determined exclusively by your performance in the Tier 2 examination.

EMRS PGT Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2026
- The exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks + 20 Language Competency Test
- Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)

- There will be a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer.
- Language Competency Test is qualifying in nature, with a minimum of 40% marks in each language. If the candidate didn’t qualify in the Language Competency Test, then other subjects will not be evaluated.
