FSSAI Food Analyst Selection Process 2026

Stage 1 – Computer-Based Examination: This stage tests candidates on their knowledge of food analysis, safety standards, chemistry, microbiology, and relevant food legislation. The exam features objective-type questions, and candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks to progress.

Stage 2 – Practical Examination: Only candidates who successfully qualify in the CBT stage will be invited to participate in the practical examination.

Stage 3 – Mandatory Food Analyst Training: Qualified candidates from the practical round are required to attend a 2-week mandatory training program facilitated by the FSSAI.

FSSAI 11th FAE Exam Pattern 2025-26

• All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• For each correct answer, 4 marks will be provided
• There is negative marking; 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers
• Candidates must score at least 50% to qualify for the CBT
