IRB GD Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

4. Click on new registration, and register themself with a valid email ID.
5. After registration, log in using your credentials.
6. Fill out the personal details, educational qualification, category and other required information.
7. Upload the passport-size photograph, signature and required certificate.

IRB Constable Selection Process 2026

Candidates are required to clear each stage of the recruitment process to advance. Please note that Stage-II (PST, PET, and Trade Test) and Stage-III (Medical Fitness Test) are qualifying in nature and do not carry additional marks for the final merit list.

Written Examination: As the first phase of selection, this test carries 200 marks. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 33% to qualify. Only candidates meeting this threshold will be shortlisted at a 1:3 ratio based on merit.

Physical Test & Trade Test: Shortlisted candidates proceed to the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and a post-specific Trade Test. Evaluation includes height and chest measurements, running, high jump, and long jump. This stage is strictly qualifying.

Medical Examination: After successfully clearing the PST and PET, candidates will undergo a final medical fitness assessment. Only candidates declared medically fit will be considered for final appointment.

IRB GD Physical Test 2026

The final number of candidates selected for Stage-II will follow a 1:3 ratio, provided they have achieved the mandatory 33% passing score in the written examination paper.

Physical Standard Test

The IRB PST focuses on standard physical measurements (height/chest) and is qualifying in nature. Results from this test will not influence the final merit ranking.

Following all recruitment stages, successful candidates will be invited for Document Verification (DV). You must provide both original documents and self-attested photocopies. Candidates may also be required to upload scanned copies of their credentials to the official APSSB portal when prompted.

IRB GD Constable Salary 2026
