Eligibility Criteria: Age and Education

Candidates must be between 18 and 28 years of age as of 17th August 2026. Age relaxations are applicable for Ex-Servicemen, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and serving government employees as per prevailing rules.

The educational qualification for most Scientist/Engineer 'SC' posts requires a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree, or its equivalent, in the respective discipline. A minimum aggregate of 65% or a CGPA of 6.84/10 is mandatory. For the Architecture post, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with the same academic percentage and a valid Registration Certificate from the Council of Architecture is required.

ISRO Scientist Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package. They will be placed at Pay Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, with a starting basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- per month. In addition to the basic pay, candidates will receive various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance as per Central Government norms. The employment will be governed by the New Pension Scheme.
