Online Registration

  1. Login to Using JEE Advanced 2026 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address, the candidates would have to log in to register for the examination.
  2. Then a question will appear on your screen “Are you Interested in AAT 2026?”, Choose ‘Yes’ if you want admission to AAT 2026 else to choose ‘No’.
  3. Select the preferred exam centres from the list of exam centres.

JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card

IIT Kanpur will release the official admit cards for the JEE Advanced 2026 examination online at www.jeeadv.ac.in. The hall ticket is a mandatory document containing the exam date, venue, reporting time, and personal details such as your photograph, signature, and roll number. Candidates are strongly advised to download and print their admit cards at least 2-3 weeks prior to the exam date.

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for JEE Advanced is governed by specific criteria set by the IITs. Aspiring candidates must check www.jeeadv.ac.in regularly for the most recent updates. Note that the updated regulations now permit students to attempt the exam three times over three consecutive years.

  2. General EWS – 10%
  3. OBC-NCL candidates – 27%
  4. SC candidates – 15%
  5. ST candidates – 7.5%

Number of attempts

Candidates are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam a maximum of three times in three consecutive years.

Performance in JEE Mains:

To qualify, a candidate must rank among the top 2,50,000 scorers in the JEE Main examination, adhering to the standard category-wise seat distribution.

Appearance in Class 12 (or equivalent) examination

Students who completed their Class 12th board exams in 2024 or are currently appearing for them in 2025 are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2026.

Earlier admission at IITs/ISM

Candidates who have previously accepted an admission offer at any IIT—regardless of whether they completed the program—are ineligible. Furthermore, those whose IIT admission was canceled after enrollment cannot appear for JEE Advanced 2026.

Age Limit 

General category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000. A 5-year age relaxation is applicable for candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

Candidates who were admitted to a preparatory course at any IIT for the first time in 2022 remain eligible for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam.

JEE Advanced Answer Key 2026

IIT Kanpur will release provisional answer keys for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the official website. No login is required to access these keys. Candidates will also be provided a designated window to submit objections against any discrepancies found in the provisional answer key.
