1. Written Examination:  This screening test is held to shortlist candidates for subsequent rounds. While these marks are not included in the final merit list, the exam features 100 objective-type questions with a 1/4th negative marking penalty for every incorrect answer.

2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): During this stage, candidates' physical standards—specifically height, weight, and chest measurements (for male candidates only)—are assessed against the board's requirements.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifiers from the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test, which focuses on running endurance and performance standards.

4. Final Written Exam: Candidates who pass the PMT and PET will be invited to the Final Written Examination. This paper contains 85 objective questions, with a 1/4th mark deduction for incorrect answers. The board establishes specific qualifying marks for progression to the final stage.
