What is the MAHA TET Certificate 2026?

The MAHA TET eligibility certificate is a vital credential for securing teaching positions within Maharashtra government and aided schools. While the certificate verifies that a candidate meets the state's teaching standards, it does not act as a direct job offer. Successful candidates must still participate in subsequent state government recruitment drives to apply for specific vacancies.

MAHA TET Certificate Validity

The MAHA TET certificate is awarded to those who meet the minimum qualifying thresholds. Issued by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), the document confirms the candidate's eligibility to teach within the state. Notably, the MAHA TET certificate carries lifetime validity, providing candidates with a permanent credential for their teaching career.

Documents Required for Collecting the MAHA TET Certificate

To ensure a smooth collection process, candidates must report to their respective District Education Officer (Primary) at the Zilla Parishad. Please ensure you carry a valid government-issued photo ID and all relevant examination documentation required for verification purposes.
