Registered candidates can obtain their Punjab PCS Prelims Admit Card 2025 by following these streamlined steps:

1. Search for the official website of Punjab Public Service Commission, www.ppsc.gov.in.
2. Look for the Admit Card Tab, which is located extreme right side of the homepage
   
3. Then a new page opens. Candidates have to enter the Registration Number and Captcha code.
4. After entering the details, click the “Submit” button, and the admit card appears on your screen.
5. Download the admit card and print it for Exam Day.

The Punjab PCS Prelims 2025 exam schedule is split into two sessions: Paper 1 will be conducted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Paper 2 will follow from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Punjab PCS Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The Prelims consist of two papers, each carrying 200 marks. Paper 1 assesses General Studies, while Paper 2 covers the CSAT syllabus, focusing on logical reasoning, mental ability, and basic numeracy.

• Paper 1 has 100 questions from General Studies.
• Paper 2 (CSAT) has 80 questions from the Aptitude Test.
• There is no negative marking in the prelims exam.
• The CSAT paper is qualifying, and candidates must score 40% marks to pass it.
• Prelims marks are not considered in the final merit list.
• Prelims are used only to shortlist candidates for the Mains

Punjab PCS Preliminary Exam Instructions

Candidates are strictly required to adhere to the following exam day guidelines:

• Candidate must carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, etc., along with the admit card issued by PPSC (with a self-attested photograph).
• Affix the latest self-attested colored passport-size photograph at the designated place on the admit card.
• Bring two latest colored photographs (1 passport-size and 1 stamp-size) on the exam day.
• Frisking and biometric attendance will be done before entry.
• Report on time as no entry after 11 am for the morning session and 3 pm for evening session
• Candidates cannot leave the hall before the exam ends.
• Candidates must fill the OMR response sheet with a black or blue ballpoint pen only.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, storage devices, Bluetooth devices, calculators, electronic watches, pagers, or any device capable of communication are not allowed, whether switched on or off.
