The examination was held across 5,440 centers spanning 551 cities in India and 14 international locations, serving over 20 lakh students. Following the re-conducted offline pen-and-paper examination on June 21, 2026, the NTA reported that out of 22.79 lakh registered candidates, around 20 lakh appeared, with 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying. Notably, over 58% of the qualifying candidates are female.
