REET Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates gearing up for the REET 2026 exam should thoroughly analyze the latest test pattern and follow this guide to structure their learning. 1. There would be 150 questions for 1 mark each.
2. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours for each paper.
3. ⅓rd mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
4. From now onwards, there will be 5 options in the question and if the question is left blank and 5th option is not selected.
5. Paper 1 is for Primary level i.e. class I to V
6. Paper 2 is for secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII.

1. Family – Personal relationships, nuclear and joint families, social abuses (child marriage, dowry system, child labor, theft); addiction (intoxication, smoking) and it’s personal, social, and economical bad effects.
2. Clothes and Habitats – Clothes for different seasons; maintenance of clothes at home; handloom and power loom; habitats of living beings, various types of houses; cleanliness of houses and neighbouring areas; Different types of materials for building houses.

REET Grade 3 Teacher Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2026

After qualifying for the REET 2026 exam, candidates must prepare for a subsequent recruitment test. The exam features two papers: Paper-1 for classes 1-5 and Paper-2 for classes 6-8. Both papers consist of 150 questions totaling 150 marks. Interested candidates are eligible to sit for both papers.

1. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
2. The REET 2026 Exam will be of 300 marks.
3. The exam is for 2 hours & 30 minutes
4. Level 1 examination is conducted for teachers of classes 1st to 5th
5. Level 2 examination is conducted for teachers of classes 6th to 8th.
