Important Eligibility and Exemption Criteria
Exemption Conditions for Ph.D. holders (Registered before 11 July 2009)
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
- Thesis evaluated by 2 external examiners
- Open Viva conducted
- At least 2 research papers published, one in a reputed journal
- 2 papers presented in seminars/conferences funded by UGC/CSIR/etc.
- All conditions must be certified by the Registrar/Dean of the university.
- If NET/SLET/SET is not conducted in a particular subject, it is not required.
Educational Qualification for Posts 28 to 30 (Music, Dance, Fine Arts)
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Studied under a reputed master (guru)
- Must be an “A” grade artist of AIR/Doordarshan
- Must have the ability to explain and teach the subject logically
- Should have enough knowledge to teach theory and practicals
