RRB JE Selection Stages

The comprehensive RRB JE selection process is divided into four distinct stages, beginning with the CBT 1 and culminating in the final appointment.

1. CBT 1: A 90-minute objective test featuring 100 questions covering Mathematics (30), General Intelligence & Reasoning (25), General Awareness (15), and General Science (30), with a 1/3 negative marking scheme.

2. CBT 2: The technical assessment consists of two parts: Part A (General Awareness, Physics, Chemistry, Basics of IT/Environment - 100 questions) and Part B (trade-specific professional knowledge - 100 questions), with a total duration of 150 minutes.

3. Document Verification: Following the CBT 2 results, successful candidates must undergo a rigorous verification of original educational certificates, age proof, category certificates, and identification documents.

4. Medical Examination: The final stage involves a medical fitness test to ensure candidates meet the physical and visual standards required for their specific post (e.g., A-1 for Junior Engineers).
