What if there is any error on the RRB Technician Answer Key 2026?

The Railway Recruitment Board has also implemented a system for candidates to challenge any discrepancies found in the provisional RRB Technician Answer Key 2026. Candidates can raise objections and must furnish valid supporting evidence between March 28 and April 6, 2026 (10:00 AM). A fee of Rs. 50 per question is required for raising objections, along with the submission of necessary proof. • The computer-based test is conducted for 100 marks each.
• There is a provision of negative marking for wrong answers; ⅓ marks are deducted.
• Candidates are rewarded +1 for the correct answer.

How to Calculate Marks Using RRB Technician Official Grade 1 Answer Key?

Tentative Score = (1 × Number of Correct Answers) − (0.33 × Number of Incorrect Answers)

For illustrative purposes, if a candidate attempted 90 questions, achieving 72 correct answers and making 18 incorrect answers:

• Marks for correct answers: 72 × 1 = 72 marks
• Negative marks: 18 × 1/3 = 6 marks
• Final Score = 72 − 6 = 66 marks

Following the release of the answer key, candidates can submit objections against any identified incorrect answers until March 27, 2026 (10:00 AM). Post the objection submission period, the RRB will meticulously review all challenges.
