Significant shifts in the Rajasthan 4th Grade recruitment cut-off marks have been observed following the implementation of the official normalisation process.
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) 4th Grade Recruitment 2025 has undergone notable changes in cut-off marks due to the normalisation process, catching many aspirants off guard. Despite the substantial number of vacancies, cut-off thresholds for reserved categories have seen a considerable decline. Normalisation was implemented to balance score variations across different exam shifts, accounting for differences in difficulty levels. This adjustment resulted in lower-than-anticipated cut-offs for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates, sparking widespread discussion among thousands of participants.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 53,750 Grade 4 positions, comprising 5,550 vacancies in the TSP (Scheduled) region and 48,199 in the NTSP (Non-Scheduled) region. As the written examination was conducted across multiple shifts, the board utilized normalisation to ensure a transparent and equitable assessment process for all candidates, regardless of their test paper's difficulty.

4th Grade Final Selection
Competition remained fierce throughout the recruitment process, with over 21 lakh applications received. Rigorous scrutiny led to the rejection of 26,436 applications, and policies such as the automatic disqualification of candidates who left more than 10% of the questions unattempted significantly reshaped the final merit list.
The RSSB has clarified that final selection for 4th-grade positions is contingent upon successful document verification (DV) and meeting all eligibility criteria. Qualified candidates are expected to attend the upcoming DV round, after which the official list of selected candidates will be published on the official website at https://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in/.
