Tie-Breaking Criteria of RUHS CUET 2026

In cases where two or more candidates achieve identical scores, inter-se merit and tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine their final rank.

• PCB/PCM Aggregate: Higher percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics in Class 12.
• Physics Marks: If the tie remains, the candidate with a higher percentage in Physics (Class 12th) gets the higher rank.
• Chemistry Marks: If still tied, the higher percentage in chemistry (Class 12th) is used.
• Class 10th Marks: If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in their Class 10th examination is preferred.
• Age: As a final measure, the older candidate will be given the higher rank.
