Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
All question papers for the SBI Clerk exam are bilingual, available in both English and Hindi. Negative marking applies to incorrect answers in prelims and mains, where one-fourth (0.25) of the assigned marks are deducted for every wrong response. Furthermore, there are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects, and sectional cut-offs are not enforced.

Salary Package and Perks

The initial basic pay is Rs. 26,730/- (which includes two advance increments granted to graduate applicants). Additionally, appointed Junior Associates are not eligible for Inter-Circle or Inter-State transfers. Trained SBI apprentices receive bonus marks equivalent to 2.5% of the maximum score (5 marks out of 200) in the Main Examination.
