Steps to Raise Objections to the SSC Junior Engineer Tier 2 Answer Key 2026

1. Visit the official website of SSC at https://ssc.gov.in/.
2. Log in with your registration number and password.
3. Click on the link reading “Click to Raise Objections to Tentative SSC JE Answer key”.
4. Log in using your SSC User ID and Password
5. Choose the question number and the correct option according to you.
6. Pay the applicable fee and submit the objection.
7. Attach proof for the objection raised.

SSC JE Paper 2 Answer Key 2026 Marking Scheme

The SSC JE Paper 2 consists of 100 questions totaling 300 marks. Each correct answer earns 3 marks, while each incorrect answer carries a negative marking penalty of 1 mark.

1. Each question in Paper 1 carries 3 marks.
2. For each correct answer, you earn 3 marks.
3. For each incorrect answer, there is a penalty of 1 mark. This negative marking applies to each incorrect response.
4. Unanswered questions do not result in any negative marking. It's better to leave questions unanswered if you are unsure rather than guessing and incurring negative marks.

3. Calculate positive marks: Positive Marks = C×3.​
4. Calculate negative marks: Negative Marks = W×1

Paper 2 Score = (Correct Answers × 3) - (Wrong Answers × 1)

• Negative marks = 40×1=40
