SSC MTS Eligibility- Education Qualification (as on 01/08/2025)
To be eligible for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam, candidates must have successfully passed the matriculation (Class 10) examination or an equivalent qualification from a board or university recognized by the government, on or before the specified cut-off date. Candidates must also possess documentary evidence confirming their successful completion of the qualifying examination by the cut-off date.
SSC MTS Eligibility- Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)
For MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue): The minimum age requirement is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years. Eligible candidates should have been born on or after August 2, 2000, and on or before August 1, 2007.
For Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and certain MTS posts: Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age. This means eligible candidates should have been born on or after August 2, 1998, and on or before August 1, 2007.
Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen, as detailed in the official SSC MTS Notification 2025.

Candidates must be citizens of India. Alternatively, they can be subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma (Myanmar), Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
