SUPER TET Educational Qualification

Super TET Primary 2026 (Class 1st to 5th)

1. The candidate must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
2. The candidate must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and possess 4 years’ Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Degree OR
3. The candidate must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and have also passed in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
4. The candidate must have a Graduation Degree and passed a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
5. The candidate must have a Graduation Degree and Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) Degree

Super TET Junior 2026 (Class 6th to 8th)

1. The candidate must have held a bachelor's degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
2. The candidate must have held a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
3. The candidate must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC with the recognized institute.
4. The candidate must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
5. The candidate must have held a bachelor's degree with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed degree.

SUPER TET Age limit

The eligibility criteria for the SUPER TET exam requires candidates to fall within the age bracket of 21 to 40 years. Adherence to these age limits is strictly verified during the document review process.

SUPER TET 2026 Selection Process

The selection procedure for the Assistant Teacher post is a multi-stage process. It begins with the written Super TET exam, followed by an interview for successful candidates. Final merit is determined by calculating the scores from the written test, academic performance, and counseling outcomes. Shortlisted candidates will then proceed to document verification before receiving their official appointment letters.

The final merit list and mark distribution are calculated based on several critical performance parameters:

1. 10% marks of high school level
2. 10% marks of intermediate level
3. 10% marks of graduation level
4. 10% marks of teacher training certificate
5. 60% marks of SUPER TET written exam

The overall selection cut-off is calculated as a cumulative weightage of the Super TET written examination scores and the candidate’s academic credentials.

Super TET 2026 Exam Pattern

1. The question paper will of total 150 questions for 1 mark each.
2. There will be no negative marking for Super TET 2026.
3. The Applicants have to clear the Super TET 2026 with the minimum marks and only the candidates who have qualified CTET/UPTET can appear for this exam.
4. The qualified candidates will be provided with certifications for the same.
5. The duration of the Super TET exam is 2.5 hours.
