The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, has officially closed the application portal for aspiring teachers across the state. The online registration process for the Telangana State Teaching Eligibility Test (TG TET) concluded on 30th April 2026. TG TET Application Form 2026

The Telangana State Teaching Eligibility Test (TG TET) is a mandatory state-level assessment designed to qualify educators for primary (Classes 1st to 5th) and upper primary (Classes 6th to 8th) teaching roles within government and aided schools. The TGTET June 2026 examination is officially scheduled to take place from 16th to 22nd June 2026. All registered candidates are advised to prepare accordingly.

Online applications for TG TET 2026 commenced on 13th April 2026 via the official portals at https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/ and https://tgtet.aptonline.in/tgtet/, with the submission window closing on 30th April. All applications were strictly processed online; manual submissions or alternative methods were not entertained. 

TG TET 2026 Application Fee 

To finalize the TG TET 2026 submission, candidates were required to complete the examination fee payment using secure online methods such as UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit Cards. The fee structure was set at Rs. 700/- for a single paper (Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1000/- for candidates opting for both papers.

Steps to Fill the TG TET Notification 2026 Application Form

Step 1- Candidate Registration

1. Visit the official website of TG TET at https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/
2. Download the “Information Bulletin” and verify the eligibility for TG TET Notification 2026.
3. Candidates have to fill in all the details before submitting the application fees, then they will receive a "Journal Number" which they can use to proceed with the online application submission process.

Step 2- Online Submission of Application Form

1. Click on the Online Application Form
2. Candidates have to input their Journal Number, Date of Payment, and Date of Birth as they were entered during their online payment.
3. Check the box next to the declaration and enter the verification code provided (CAPTCHA), and then click on verify & next.

Step 3- Documents to be Uploaded

1. Please ensure that you fill out all the mandatory fields in the application form when it opens. To upload your photo, click on the browse button properly. The application cannot be edited after final submission."

Step 4- Submit the application Form

1. A Candidate ID will then be generated, and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number.
2. Download the application form for future reference.
