The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has officially released the results for the UP Police Sub-Inspector Examination 2026. Following the written examination held on March 14th and 15th, 2026, the UPPBPB has published the comprehensive result, individual scorecards, and cut-off criteria. Candidates must use their roll number and date of birth on the official portal to check their selection status.

Out of 10,77,403 total applicants, 12,333 candidates have successfully qualified for the next phase of recruitment. The Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (DV & PST) are set for late May 2026, followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in June 2026.

Understanding Your UP Police SI Result Status

Shortlisted: You have cleared the cut-off and are invited to the DV/PST round.
Not Shortlisted: You met the minimum requirements but did not meet the required cut-off.
Disqualified: You did not achieve the mandatory 35% subject-wise score or 50% overall normalized score.
Absent: You did not appear for the written examination.

1. Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPBPB), i.e., www.uppbpb.gov.in.
2. Go to the “Latest Notice” section on the homepage.
3. In front of this section, there is a link with the text UP Police SI Result and Cut off 2026, and click on the respective link.
4. A new page opens up. Here, click on the “Candidate Login” button.
5. Candidates are redirected to a new login page. Fill in the required details in the login portal, such as roll number and date of birth.
6. After providing valid login details, click on the ‘Sign In’ button.

UP SI DV & PST PET Schedule 2026

The UPPBPB has released the tentative schedule for the next selection rounds. The Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for successful candidates are slated for the third week of May 2026, with the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) following in June 2026.
