  3. Conversant in the use of World Wide Web and popular websites (for Railway/Air Reservation, search engines like Google, information websites like wikipedia etc.)
  4. Working Knowledge of E-mailing (sending, sending with attachment, reading, saving, printing, maintaining address book etc.)
  5. Working Knowledge of preparation of presentations (power point, PDF etc.) with different styles and animations.

UPPSC Shorthand Typing Test 2025

For the Hindi Shorthand Type Test, candidates are required to maintain a minimum speed of 25 w.p.m. to qualify; falling below this speed renders a candidate ineligible. While 10 marks are awarded for achieving 25 w.p.m., an additional 1 mark is granted for every 5 w.p.m. increment, capped at a maximum of 15 bonus marks for shorthand proficiency.
