The PET exam is designated for posts falling within the salary range of Pay Scale 1 (5200-20200) with a Grade Pay of 1900/-, and below Pay Scale 2 (9300-34800) with a Grade Pay of 4600/-. In addition to the basic salary, selected candidates will receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and travelling allowance, resulting in an initial in-hand salary ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 37,000, contingent upon the specific post.
