Educational Qualification

UPTET Eligibility for Paper-I (Primary-Level Teachers): To be eligible for Paper-I, applicants must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university or institution, along with a completed two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd). Final-year DElEd students are also eligible to apply.

Graduates must possess a Basic Training Certificate (BTC) obtained through distance education. Candidates in their final year of BTC are also eligible.

Graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks is required, alongside pursuing a Bachelor of Education (BEd).

Graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 45% marks is required, along with the completion of a BEd program.

Graduation degree is necessary, along with a BTC in Urdu. Candidates in their final year of this program are also eligible to apply.

Candidates must have completed their graduation and possess a diploma in teaching from Aligarh Muslim University.

Graduation and the acquisition of the Moavill-E-Urdu degree prior to August 8th, 1997, are the required qualifications.

Completion of 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks is required, along with the four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) program.

UPTET Eligibility for Paper-II (Upper Primary-Level Teachers): Applicants must satisfy one of the following criteria to be eligible for Paper II:

Candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized college or university, along with a two-year DElEd (BTC) program.

A minimum of 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation is required, along with the completion of BEd/BEd Special Education. Final-year BEd/BEd Special Education students are also eligible.

Completion of 12th class with at least 50% marks is required, along with a four-year BScEd/BSc BEd from a UGC/National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized institution. Final-year BScEd/BSc BEd students are also eligible.

A minimum of 50% marks in 12th class is required, along with the four-year BElEd program. Final-year BElEd students are also eligible.

Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks is required, along with a one-year BEd program. Final-year BEd students are also eligible.
