1.  Go to the official website of the Uttarakhand TET at www.ukutet.com.
2. On the homepage, click the “Recruitment” option.
3. Choose the post for which you wish to apply and carefully read the guidelines.
4. Click on the “Apply Online” tab and enter your personal information, educational credentials, and so forth.
5. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents, such as a passport-size photograph, signature, educational certificates, and caste certificate (if applicable).
6. Pay the application fee using one of the provided payment methods.
7. Examine the application form for any mistakes or anomalies.
8. Submit the application by clicking “Submit”.
9. Make a copy of the application form and payment receipt for your records.

UTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying, aspirants must ensure they fulfill the mandatory educational and age-related eligibility criteria for the UTET 2026 to ensure their application is processed successfully.

Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class)	Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma  in Elementary Education.
	Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year  Diploma in Elementary Education.
	Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year  Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
	Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year  Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
	Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
	Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for  becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates has to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge  Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher

UTET 2026 Certificate Validity

Previously, the UTET certificate was valid for seven years. Following amendments by the Ministry of Education, the UTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime. Qualified candidates from the 2026 exam cycle will receive this permanent certification upon passing the exam once.
