Educational Qualifications

Eligibility Criteria for Basic and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

• Must have passed Basic B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a college recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and State Nursing Council.
• Must be registered as a Female Nurse Midwife with the West Bengal Nursing Council.
• Must know Bengali or Nepali, both spoken and written.

To apply for GNM positions, the candidate must satisfy the following:

• Have passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a Nursing Training School recognized by both the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the respective State Nursing Council.
• Be registered as a Female/Male Nurse Midwife with the West Bengal Nursing Council.
• Have knowledge of Bengali or Nepali (spoken).

Age Limit (1/1/2025)

• To be eligible for the Staff Nurse post, candidates must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit for applicants is 39 years.

WB Staff Nurse Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the 2025 Staff Nurse recruitment consists of several rigorous stages.
