WBPSC ICDS Supervisor Exam Pattern 2026

The selection process for the Supervisor post comprises three phases: the Preliminary Examination, the Mains Examination, and the Personality Test (Viva-Voce). Understanding the specific exam pattern for each stage is crucial for building a winning strategy.

Prelims Exam

The Preliminary exam is an objective-type OMR test featuring 100 multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, with provisions for negative marking. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete sections on General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and Reasoning.

Mains Exam

The Mains stage consists of four papers: Paper I (English), Paper II (Bengali or regional language), Paper III (General Studies), and Paper IV (Arithmetic). Each paper is evaluated for 100 marks with a 90-minute time limit, and notably, there is no negative marking at this level.

Viva-Voce

Viva-Voce/Personality Test: Shortlisted candidates from the Mains exam will advance to a personality test worth 50 marks. The final selection merit list is determined by the cumulative scores achieved in the Mains examination and the personality interview.
