Terms and Conditions
- Employees of Online Result, along with their relatives (up to second degree of kinship), are excluded from participating in the Online Result Scholarships.
- There is no entry fee to participate in the Online Result Scholarships.
- Individuals wishing to apply for the Online Result Scholarship will need to ensure that they have their own access to the Internet. Online Result is not responsible for assisting with access to websites or for providing other technical assistance to any applicant.
- Applicants bear full responsibility for the complete and correct filling in, and submission of, their personal information.
- By submitting an application for the Online Result Scholarships, applicants thereby consent to the publication of their names on the Online Result’ websites, if they are shortlisted.
- The Online Result Scholarships is non-transferable and cannot be used by any person other than the successful candidates.
- The Online Result Scholarships has a total of 2 grants of 10,000 EUR each.
- Upon being declared a winner, it is the responsibility of the recipient to provide information to make a successful bank transfer, share accurate and complete bank details necessary for the transfer of prize payments.
- In the event of incorrect or incomplete bank details provided by the winner, Online Result attempts to process the payment using the details provided for a maximum of two instances.
- Online Result shall not be liable for any delays or failures in payment processing arising from incorrect or incomplete bank details provided by the winner.
- Each individual Online Result Scholarships grant will be applied toward the cost of tuition fees in the first instance. Tuition fees will be paid to the Higher Education Institution that the successful candidate will attend.
- If tuition fees are below the maximum individual award fund, the remaining funds may be transferred to the candidate's bank account and allocated for living and other studying costs.
- Online Result reserves the right to bring in third parties that may contribute to the total prize value.
- Online Result is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- Online Result will not bear any responsibility for the loss of the Online Result Scholarships, should the organisation be unable to notify the successful candidate, due to any issues connected to his/her e-mail, including, but not limited to, technical issues or non-response.
- A selection panel comprised of representatives from Online Result will review and assess the entries. Strong candidates will be shortlisted and invited for an in-person interview via Microsoft Teams call prior to the final winning selection.
- Online Result reserves the right to allocate or withdraw the Online Result Scholarship at its discretion, should the successful candidate not respond, including failure to provide Online Result with any required information and documentation by the deadlines of submissions.
- After the deadline, all responsibility of Online Result ceases entirely.
- The successful candidate needs to provide final confirmation of acceptance from the relevant institution by the relevant cut-off date in order to claim the award prize. In the scenario of living expenses allocation, the successful candidate needs to provide official enrolment proof at the relevant institution by the relevant cut-off date to claim the award prize.
- The Online Result Scholarship cannot be used by a successful candidate to study domestically.
- The successful candidate consents to appear in relevant advertisements connected to the Online Result Scholarships and future award programs, or to have his/her name and photo or video used for the purposes of promotion by Online Result, without receiving any remuneration.
- The decision of the selection panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation applicable in the Netherlands.
- Candidates agree that Online Result (and any third party authorised by Online Result) may use their entries for any promotional purpose. Candidates will retain ownership of copyright in the entry and give Online Result (and any third party authorised by Online Result) the irrevocable permission to use, reproduce, publish, display, transmit, copy, amend, store, sell and sub-licence the entry worldwide for such promotional purposes and for the purposes of the competition.
- Online Result reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Online Result’s control.
- Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Online Result.
- The Online Result Scholarships and these terms and conditions will be governed by Dutch law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
- Entry into the Online Result Scholarships will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Participation of successful candidates in the Online Result Scholarships program presupposes and signifies their full and unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Online Result Scholarships.
