University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) is a Private State Private University specializing in technical education. In fact, it is the first State Private University on Science and Technology in the entire North East India. USTM is sponsored through ERD Foundation or Education Research Development Foundation, Guwahati. ERD is one of the educational societies in North East India having the objective of imparting professional and technical education in the North Eastern part of the country. The University has been established under the provisions of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya Act (No.6 of 2008) enacted through Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya, dated 02.12.2008 of Government of Meghalaya. The University is empowered through the University Grants Commission, to award degrees as specified through the UGC (University Grant Commission) under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). The University has a land area of approximately 121.51 acres of land. The campus is well connected through Rail and Air.

Application Form can also be downloaded from the University Website. 

Cost of application form is Rs.350/- for B.Ed. and Rs.200/- for all other courses

Qualified and keen aspirants, who fulfill all the conditions of admission of their preferred course of study, are requested to download their respective application formats from the official website  

However, applicants can also obtain the same from the SBI or Andhra Bank at the University campus or by sending a 30 x 24 cms sized self-demand Draftressed stamped cover priced INR.40/- along with the original online challan note and a request letter through the post

After receiving the form, applicants must deposit an application fee of Rs.200/- charged by the university through a Demand Draft or Bank Challan

Once candidates successfully issue these payments, they are supposed to send the duly filled form along with the Demand Draft and copies of other required documents to the prescribed demand Draftress within the last date of receipt of applications

University of Science and Technology conducts the various UG and PG examination every year to test the skills and knowledge of the students. They can download the University of Science and Technology May Exam admit card by visiting the official website of the university.

Those students who will qualify the University of Science and Technology examination will go to the next level of the course. They should start their preparation after downloading the University of Science and Technology May Hall ticket. The admit card for the entrance examination will be issued for only those aspirants who will submit the applications duly completed before the last date.
