Board of Technical Education, Jodhpur Rajasthan was established to
spread technical education in the princely state. Technical eduaction is
in great demand this days and the government of Rajasthan has left no
stone unturned to fullfill the emerging demand in the field . The Board
of Technical Education of Rajasthan conducts a Pre Entrance Test for
Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy, popularly known as the RPETEAP,
every year in the month of May-June to admit eligible candidates in
various technical colleges of Rajasthan. BTER also affiliates all the
government as well as private polytechnic colleges of Rajasthan. It
decides fees structure and the syllabus to be taught in the polytechnic
colleges of Rajasthan. BTER also governs the Industrail Training
Institutes(I.T.I) and Industrial Training Centers(I.T.C) of the
Rajasthan state. From the day of its inception Board of Technical
Education Rajasthan has taken all the necessary measures to progress
Rajasthan in the technical field too.
