It is based on the tenets of Indian Culture as envisaged by Pujya Gurudev Pt Shriram Sharma Acharya, the founder of Gayatri Pariwar, head quartered at Shantikunj, Haridwar. Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya is located at Haripur Kalan, a village located near the border of the districts of Haridwar and Dehradun. Its spiritual fervor is augmented by its location, on the bank of the Holy Ganges and in the lap of the sacred Himalayas. Spread over a huge area of eighty-two acres, it is at a distance of 7 km from the railway station of Haridwar and is positioned on the Dehradun-Rishikesh Highway.
